Born at Lennox Hill hospital in New York City, Dean grew up in Pasadena, CA. He worked for Ilan Hall at the landmark restaurant The Gorbals during the DTLA renaissance. Dean was later hired by Julian Cox of the Soigne group to run the bar program at Brilliantshine in Santa Monica. After an Elvis sighting he moved to San Diego and is the current bar manager at Ironside in Little Italy.
