Make sure you have PLENTY of sponges/paper towels!

First of all, this drink is delicious. The coconut plus the cinnamon makes this a wonderful egg nog substitute for a party. I made the 1st cocktail per the recipe. Tasty. Then made the 2nd cocktail with just a little less condensed milk. Wonderful.

You should be aware that making this cocktail is NOT a neat, mess-free, orderly process! Your kitchen/bar will be sticky. Most the making’s come in cans so measuring is with out some spills and mess. After the 2nd cocktail, I put measured out the rest of the ingredients and created a pitcher of delicious Coquito for one final clean up.

Good holiday beverage

I have to give this two thumbs up, but only three stars since I was given a gift of homemade Coquito this season that knocked my socks off.

Without comparing the two, I thought it was quite good, but i thought it might be thicker. Although I’m glad I ordered and experienced it, i won’t likely be recreating, but would recommend to someone who hasn’t experienced this beverage before.

Yum!

Tasty balance of sweetness. Definitely a bit messy with the cans and creams. Overall a very good drink!

Yummy Winter Drink

This drink was very nice to drink on a chilly night. The cinnamon, lechera, coconut flakes and rum warmed me right up! This reminds me of a cold weather pina colada. We don’t like overly sweet drinks, so we put a little less vanilla extract and coconut cream.

Very inventive!!!

Creamy and delicious

I loved this drink! It was a little messy to measure and pour but it was worth the effort! If you like horchata, you’ll love this drink.

Great Tropical Cocktail

The Coquito is made up of a great blend of coconut and cinnamon that is warming and reminiscent of the tropics. Using both coconut cream and sweetened condensed milk makes the drink rich and creamy. The rum is barely detectable and it is easy to down a few of these Coquitos with no problem.

Very refreshing!

The coconut flakes and ground cinnamon take this drink from ordinary to something special.

Good Drink...a little messy

This drink is really good, but it is pretty messy to make. If you dont intend to make all 6 in one night it could be hard with the cans. Wish they had 2 sets of smaller cans. Great flavor, and something I have never tried before.

Tasty drink ... if you enjoy milk and sweets

Fun drink to make and it tasted good! A little on the milky and sweet side though.
