After the bounty of fruits in summer, it may seem that fall is only for the apples and pears. Until you remember the chiseled, jewel-like seeds of Pomegranate, bursting with sweet-tart flavor. This ruby red fruit is at its peak in late fall and makes an appearance in many winter recipes. Appreciate fall’s harvest by shaking up this creative twist on the classic Margarita.

I liked this drink. Not a favorite but definitely something to add to the repertoire for future get togethers.

Balanced and Fun

The group really enjoyed this flavorful and fun margarita. A nice change of pace from the traditional.

Definitely refreshing. Not too sweet. A very simple drink. Reminded me more of a vodka-cranberry than a margarita.

pom marg

Enjoyed not having to struggle with garnish but think the lime slice would have benefitted with some hydration before. There was a bit of a bitter taste, maybe due to too much lime. we still enjoyed and appreciated the good quality ingredients

Change of pace Margarita

Pomegranate is not a flavor I’ve been acquainted with and this was a nice surprise. I had drifted away from Padron and forgot how much richer it is. Life is short. Spend your kid’s inheritance on quality Tequila.

Fun drink

Fun to make and not as complicated as my last order. Overall the drink was a little tart but corrected with a little more agave.

Good drink

It was a good cocktail. A bit citrus forward for the average drinker, but I like lime. Modified to add a little more agave and a little less lime for my friends.

Nice pomegranate margarita

We had fun mixing this and trying the drinks. A little too sweet so we reduced the agave which was easy to do.

Modified classic

The cocktail was good, but a bit too tart for our taste. We reduced the amount of lime in the second batch so that you could better taste the agave.

A little too sweet

This cocktail had good flavor but it was a little too sweet. I think that withouth the agave simple syrup it would be better.

Pomegranate margarita

Modified the agave to give it a little more sweetness, but was too much fun to receive for a birthday gift.

Nice variation

Overall good and a nice variation on the classic.

Pom Marg

Was as good as I had hoped it would be! Love the POM.

Solid version of the drink!

I’ve made a few pomegranate margarita recipes before, so this one wasn’t too unique. I did love the dried lime garnish (very pretty!) and found I used a little less simple syrup than called for.

Justin L.

Margarita was good – not great. It was a little tart for my liking. I just added some extra agave and that seemed to balance it more to my palate.

Great Summer Drink

Refreshing and slightly tart as the description suggests. A very nice twist to a traditional margarita on the rocks.

Christopher A.

Loved It!

Not adventurous, but definitely smooth and tasty

Where my previous subscription cocktails have been full of surprises (cucumber syrup is my new religion!), this margarita was a solid drink even though it didn’t reveal any major twists from a typical margarita. Refreshing? Check! Smooth? Check!
For my second round, I added a touch more agave nectar than the recipe called for, and that totally hit the spot.

A solid entry, but not as revolutionary as other drinks from Laila Grainawi’s amazing brain!
